Well, after a brief hiatus from my blog, it is now time to gear up for another year with the TOS Homeschool Crew.  This year I will be serving as a TOS Crew First Mate.  That means that I will be mentoring some new crewmates and helping them to have a successful year as a reviewer for the TOS Homeschool Crew.  It is challenging, but fun!  I have 4 wonderful ladies on my mini-crew and we are currently working on a name for ourselves.  I will post an icon with our name when we get that all worked out soon.  Choosing a name is serious business!

Next week I will be posting a review for the New TOS Planner.  I will just say that this is a FANTASTIC new planner and I am looking forward to using it during this next school year.  You will begin to notice a few changes here on my blog.  I will be reworking the links for the new crew and companies we will be reviewing.  The products that I will be reviewing will be found in the sidebar of the blog.  They will link to the company website until I have written and posted the review.  Then it will link to my review, which will in turn link to the company website.  I hope that you find this to be helpful this year.  I have also made changes to my blog template.  I think I have found the one I want to use this year.  I hope you like it.  Let me know what you think!

I plan on putting up several different posts this year with helps and ideas for homeschooling.  There will be so much more here than just my reviews for the TOS Crew.  If there is something you would like to see, please let me know and I will do my best to cover it for you.

Until then, here is a little something to bring a smile to your face.  I think that many of us can relate to it!  Enjoy!

Yesterday I talked about the TOS Digital Magazine and how I love it. Today I want to tell you about another product from The Old Schoolhouse that I absolutely love. What am I talking about? The Schoolhouse Planner. I purchased this product in July and it has been an invaluable resource to me as I have planned my school year. There is so much information available in this planner that I was literally floored when I got it.

The planner is jampacked with lesson plan ideas, planning worksheets for just about anything you can possibly think of and forms, forms and more forms. Another of my favorite features are the recipes that are included in each month. I am a recipe junkie, so more recipes equals more food ideas and that is always a good thing in my home.

One of the greatest features is the many different articles that are included by several well known authors in the homechool community. These articles are informative and inspiring. There is an article for each month by one of the following authors: Martha Greene, Amanda Bennett, Kim Kautzer, Anne-Claire Bocage, Dena Wood, Jeannie Fulbright, Terri Johnson, JoJo Tabares, Amy Pak, Carolyn Hurst, and Janice Campbell.

If all of this isn’t enough, the great folks over at The Old Schoolhouse even thought to include various household forms for your use. These are just great and I appreciate the inclusion of them in this product. For more information on The Schoolhouse Planner, you can visit the Schoolhouse Store. (You can even get a sneak peek at this great product if you want!)

The Schoolhouse Planner is a great deal at $39, but how about if you could get one of these for free? Thanks to the great people at The Old Schoolhouse, I have arranged a special giveaway for you where one of my lucky readers will get to receive a free copy of The Schoolhouse Planner, a $39 value!
