Yesterday I talked about the TOS Digital Magazine and how I love it. Today I want to tell you about another product from The Old Schoolhouse that I absolutely love. What am I talking about? The Schoolhouse Planner. I purchased this product in July and it has been an invaluable resource to me as I have planned my school year. There is so much information available in this planner that I was literally floored when I got it.

The planner is jampacked with lesson plan ideas, planning worksheets for just about anything you can possibly think of and forms, forms and more forms. Another of my favorite features are the recipes that are included in each month. I am a recipe junkie, so more recipes equals more food ideas and that is always a good thing in my home.

One of the greatest features is the many different articles that are included by several well known authors in the homechool community. These articles are informative and inspiring. There is an article for each month by one of the following authors: Martha Greene, Amanda Bennett, Kim Kautzer, Anne-Claire Bocage, Dena Wood, Jeannie Fulbright, Terri Johnson, JoJo Tabares, Amy Pak, Carolyn Hurst, and Janice Campbell.

If all of this isn’t enough, the great folks over at The Old Schoolhouse even thought to include various household forms for your use. These are just great and I appreciate the inclusion of them in this product. For more information on The Schoolhouse Planner, you can visit the Schoolhouse Store. (You can even get a sneak peek at this great product if you want!)

The Schoolhouse Planner is a great deal at $39, but how about if you could get one of these for free? Thanks to the great people at The Old Schoolhouse, I have arranged a special giveaway for you where one of my lucky readers will get to receive a free copy of The Schoolhouse Planner, a $39 value!

Best of luck! I just know you are going to love The Schoolhouse Planner!

This past month I was able to get a subscription to The Old Schoolhouse Magazine in a digital format. I already had a subscription to this magazine that I received in the mail. So why did I jump at the chance for the digital version too? Well, because to put it quite simply, it is fantastic!

I am thrilled that the publishers made this magazine available digitally. I keep many of my records on my computer and I do a lot of my school planning there. Now it is even easier since I have the latest and greatest information just a click away. I have found the digital version to be extremely easy to use and I love how it retains the feel of actually flipping pages in a traditional magazine.

I have chosen just one magazine to have in my home for homeschooling and it is The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. The information that is provided within the pages is invaluable to me as I search for ways to improve the homeschooling experience for my son. This past issue eloquently spelled out what a Charlotte Mason Education was and contained articles about schooling children with special needs as well as gifted children. It was a great read from cover to cover.

If you haven’t checked out this great magazine, you will want to be sure to put it on your list of purchases to make. At only $16.95 for a year, it is not only affordable, but the information you will gain will be priceless.

What do you love about The Old Schoolhouse Magazine? Which version do you prefer? Leave me a comment and share.
